How to Join the GFTN-India?
The Global Forest & Trade Network (GFTN) was established to end illegal logging and unacceptable timber practices. It aims to encourage responsible forestry by transforming global markets and promoting a profitable forest products industry.
Who is Eligible?
GFTN participants are communities, companies, and organizations that have a significant impact on valuable and threatened forests. Current GFTN participants include multinational timber companies, communities managing traditional forest lands, construction companies and those who produce the lumber they use, manufacturers producing specialty products for niche markets, retail chains, architects, and family-owned distribution companies.
