GFTN-China
GFTN-China is the Chinese chapter of WWF's Global Forest & Trade Network (GFTN), WWF's initiative to eliminate illegal logging and improve the management of valuable and threatened forests.
GFTN-China was officially launched on March 8, 2005 as a joint programme between WWF China and WWF Hong Kong to serve greater China(including Hong Kongand Taiwan). The goal of GFTN-Chinais to eliminate illegal logging and improve the management of valuable and threatened forests in China and in countries supplying wood and fibre to China. GFTN-China also serves as a forum for Chinese companies to demonstrate that they are producing and purchasing forest products in a responsible manner.

From NTPSG (Australia): The National Timber Product Stewardship Group (NTPSG) is well on its way to achieving the goal of one million tonnes wood recovery per annum following the recording of a 12% increase in the 2006-07 financial year.
